Hello, my name is Emily and welcome to my website! This site is a place to blog and showcase my work. I'm a graduate student and researcher dedicated to media literacy, publishing, media and technology. I'm a committed academic with a BA in linguistics & publishing and currently working on my masters thesis in publishing. Certified TESL and ESL teacher working with various schools and colleges on literacy and to inspire learners of English. Advanced writing, comprehension, and presentation skills, as well as experience with data analysis. Avid volunteer for various non-profits across Canada focused on community outreach and raising awareness for various causes. Currently pursuing a master's in publishing and informational media. I run a book blog on Instagram @emmysbooknook and work on many other hobby projects such as creative writing, miniature building and mixed media art.
